et’s take the overwhelm out of healthy eating.

Hey there! I’m Jasmine Oceguera- Holistic Health & Nutrition Coach for real people who want to eat more real food. If you’re looking for a step-by-step plan to clean up your diet, I’m your girl.

I first became interested in health & wellness around age 12. After driving past a factory farm on a road trip with my family, I began to wonder about where our food comes from. In the years since, I’ve made it my mission to learn how to optimally fuel ourselves, while also respecting the planet and the animals we share it with.

My focus with Plantify Nutrition Coaching is to help you skip the headache that often comes with changing your lifestyle. I truly believe that the fastest route to better health and a sustainable weight is a nutrient-dense diet centered on whole plant foods while reducing processed junk food and excessive animal products.

Taking charge of your physical, mental, and emotional health is the most empowering decision you can make. I have no doubt that when armed with the proper knowledge and skills, meaningful positive change is within your reach. Let’s do this!

You may be wondering…

“Will I only be eating salads?!”

No! You can still enjoy plenty of comfort foods like pizza, burgers, pasta, brownies, and so many more that you already love... just Plantify’d into a version that not only tastes great, but leaves you feeling great too. You would be amazed at the delicious possibilities of using the world's healthiest foods.- fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts & seeds.

Here’s the rundown on why you might want to…

Eat More Plants

Consuming more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, and nuts & seeds can supercharge your diet with health-promoting nutrients like certain vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, and antioxidants. Don’t forget about fiber!

Eating fewer animal products reduces your risk of developing heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, decreases your carbon footprint and the suffering of farmed animals, and even helps alleviate the global food and water crisis.

Eat Fewer Animals

Progress over Perfection: Let’s ditch the all-or-nothing mindset.

Science shows that giving up animal products is the single biggest step you can take to reduce your impact on the environment and reduce your risk of the top causes of death in America. Whoa, heavy stuff.

But sometimes, it’s easy to get overwhelmed trying to “do all the things”, and it kind of makes you want to just give up. How could anyone possibly eat a perfect diet, drink enough water, exercise, sleep 8 hours, have a social life, and make time for self-care every day?

Relax! You don’t need to be perfect. The truth is, it’s better to make practical, sustainable changes that fit into your life. In the long run, small steps in the right direction can make all the difference.

When it comes to eating more plants and fewer animals, the same rule still applies. If you’re not ready now (or ever) to go all the way, that’s okay! Simply choosing to eat more whole plant foods where you can is still one of the best decisions you can make for your health, the planet, and the animals you share it with. Oh, and I can help you with that.

Meet Jasmine

Before I enrolled in Nutrition school, I worked in the beauty & wellness industry for 12 years- I was a Massage Therapist, Esthetician, and Hair Stylist. Although I loved helping people and making them feel amazing, I knew that those professions were not my true calling. It all came together for me when I decided to pursue my true passion - Nutrition Coaching.

I currently live in sunny New Mexico with my husband and three silly dogs. When the weather is nice, I enjoy hiking in the mountains, biking along the river, or going to the Botanical Garden. I also love dancing- specifically Egyptian Belly Dance.

Aside from my family, there is no love I have greater than that of food. Talking about food, cooking food, eating food. According to my Mom, I preferred cooking shows over cartoons as a little kid. Cooking new recipes, especially from other cultures, is one of my favorite things to do. It also happens to be a great excuse to buy new spices!
